How are collars sized? Collars are sized according to your dog’s actual neck size not the total length of the collar. Visit our page with more information on measuring and sizing for your dog's collar.
How long will it take to get my dog’s collar? We custom make each collar. We try our best to get then out in 2-3 business days. Holiday seasons my take a week.
I ordered the wrong neck size? We will happily exchange it for the correct size.
Leather Collar Care & Maintenance
Clean the collar by using a soft brush around the crystals and wipe away dirt with a damp microfiber cloth. Apply a leather conditioner and buff to a shine. Collar should be removed when applying liquid flea medication and can be put back on when the liquid has dried.
Is your BioThane thin like most dog collars are made from? There are 2 BioThane thickness we use. On smaller dog collars such as 1/2" we use the thin standard for comfort for the smaller neck sizes. Our 3/4 and 1 inch we use heavy duty BioThane because we feel it is the closet thickness to a leather collar. Most dog collars made are made using the thin standard BioThane. We feel the heavy duty works best on dogs weight over 20 pounds. 1 inch works well on a small does such as 23 pound blue tick beagle and up to a 100 pound dog. Chicago screws are used instead of rivets on our 3/4 and 1 inch collars for added strength and security for the dog that weighs more.
